All rent is due monthly on the 1st. A late payment fee of $20 or 20% (whichever is higher) is assessed if payment is not received by the 10th.
Yes. Call the office and provide us with the information to complete the rental contract. We can email the contract to you for signature or hold in the office until your arrival. Payment for the unit will be required via credit card to complete the rental.
Yes. One month’s rent is required as a refundable security deposit. The deposit will be mailed back to you when the unit is vacated.
We accept cash, check, Debit cards, VISA, MasterCard & American Express.
Yes. You can visit our website to make direct payment on your unit with a credit card. Automatic monthly payment set up is also available through the website or by calling us in the business office.
Buildings with KeyPad Entry systems allow tenants access from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., 365 days per year. NOTE: Tenants need to be aware that remaining in the building after 8 p.m. will activate the alarm system. Off-hours these buildings are monitored by an alarmed Security System.

Yes, but NOT currently at all locations. Both temperature and climate-controlled buildings have 24 hour camera surveillance. Most drive-up, unheated, self-storage units are not covered by the camera surveillance.
Yes. Only one padlock is allowed on each storage unit, and tenants can use whatever type or brand they prefer. Round locks (or Disc Locks) are recommended for security purposes.
We recommend storing items in covered totes and placing sheets or blankets over furniture and mattresses to protect items from wind-blown dust/dirt. If using for long-term storage, remember that in Maine an unheated unit will be subjected to temperature and humidity fluctuations.

DO NOT store perishable items (food, pet food, bird seed);
DO NOT store hazardous or combustible items (gasoline, propane tanks, solvents).
We ask that you notify us if you are planning to vacate your storage unit. Prior written notice is not required. If the unit is left empty and clean, your security deposit will be returned to by mail (generally within 7 days).
Yes. Full size automobiles generally require a 10x20 sized unheated unit. Smaller compact autos (under 14.5 feet) can usually fit into a 10x15 sized unheated unit.
We have several locations, and some are more easily accessible than others. Some unheated units ARE NOT accessible to a semi-tractor trailer vehicle. Please give the office a call to discuss your circumstances and storage unit requirements before rental.
No. We do not currently have space to offer storage for any large recreational items.
